“Expansion of trade and logistics platform services through digitalization”

On April 28 (Thursday), reporter Woo-ram Han from the Maeil Business Newspaper visited KTNET and interviewed CEO Young-hwan Cha, who marked his first anniversary in office.

In an interview that lasted for more than an hour, CEO Young-hwan Cha carefully laid out KTNET’s role in the digital transformation of the trade industry, the contents of digital trade and logistics platform construction services, export capabilities, and cases of IT systems accumulated over 30 years, as well as plans for the future.

In the interview, CEO Cha said, “With a leading role, KTNET has contributed greatly to enhancing the competitiveness of companies and the national economy by quickly processing trade business and making it predictable through the standardization and automation of e-trade. And last year, we promoted the revitalization of e-commerce trade by launching an online trade portal.”

Then he added, “In the future, we will upgrade the existing e-trade infrastructure to a digital trade and logistics platform using new Industry 4.0 technologies to broaden the reach and scope of services in the second half of this year, and in phase with the expansion of the government’s ODA business, we will continue to expand our overseas services.”
