Young-hwan Cha, CEO of KTNET, visited HMM, other shipping companies, and forwarders in June to create a “world where anyone can trade easily” together with KTNET logistics customers who play the role of the main artery of import and export logistics in Korea. Then, he paid a visit to Incheon International Airport Corporation, which is in charge of the major axis of air logistics in Korea, and discussed cooperation between the two organizations with President Kyung-wook Kim.

 

In phase with the digital innovation of the Incheon International Airport Corporation (hereafter referred to as “the corporation”), CEO Young-hwan Cha and President Kim agreed to cooperate to improve the efficiency of the corporation's purchasing work by linking its electronic contract system with KTNET's electronic tax stamp service, and to effectively enhance the convenience of its partners, etc. There were in-depth discussions about cooperation between the two organizations, including agreements. Director Kim Dong-soo of KTNET's Digital Document Division, who attended this event, plans to carry out follow-up work, such as linking with the electronic tax stamp service, etc.

 

On the morning that day, he had a luncheon with Asiana Airline’s Vice President Kwang-seok Kim, one of the two national airlines, and thanked Asiana Airlines for its the contribution to the major axis of Korea's aviation import and export logistics for the past 25 years as KTNET's largest aviation logistics customer.

 

At this meeting, CEO Cha listened to Vice President Kim about global air cargo transportation trends, such as the outlook of China's strengthening cargo restrictions due to COVID-19 and current status of the merger with Korean Air, and discussed business cooperation measures in support of the aviation logistics industry and trading companies based on the mutual trust between the two companies. At the luncheon, Director Jae-cheon Kim of the Digital Trade & Logistics Division at KTNET, and Director Bong-won Seo of the Cargo Support Team at Asiana Airlines, also participated.
